this is what we did last Thursday in class:
- We repeated the listening exercise (5). Unit 2A
- we started unit 2B. We did exercises 1 and 2
Dialogue:
- What colour is my bag? It's orange.
- What colour are my keys? They're silver.
- we checked our homework. Vocabulary bank: Adjectives
- we looked at grammar. Adjectives
American football (=futbol americano - the adjective goes before the noun in English), yellow taxis (=taxis amarillos - adjectives in English are never plural!)
We also use adjectives after the verb be (en el predicado). Example: My car is new
In questions with the verb be the order is: be, subject, adjective?
Example: Is your car new?
Is: verb
Your car: subject
new: adjective
