This was today's class:
- we checked our homework
- we did exercises 3, 4 and 5 on page 43
- we started unit episode 2. Coffee to take away and I explained how to tell the time
WHAT'S THE TIME? WHAT TIME IS IT?
It's (a) quarter to seven: 6.45
It's (a) quarter past seven: 7.15
It's seven o'clock: 7.00
It's twenty past six: 6.20
It's five to seven: 6.55
It's half past six: 6.30
For times which are not multiples of five, we use minutes, e.g. It's three minutes past six: 6.03
When you can't be exact, use about:
"What time do you get up? At about 7.00"
We use the preposition AT with the time
Homework: worksheet. Order the words
